The end was very abrupt and put an extremely quick end to the book. I mean, it's a children's book so there isn't supposed to be some elaborate plot including 92 characters, 24 relationships, and a new conflict every page turn, so I got what I was signing up for. They needed some color, a little pop of life that failed to be there. They feel very blah, bland, and boring, something I don't think a kid would be too fond of. The illustrations in I Feel Sick! isn't interesting at ALL. to get out of doing as much work as possible. The little princess is a very determined young girl as she even went through the trouble of painting her face green to exaggerate the lie to the Queen and Maid that way she could skip doing the chores she was scheduled for, going to school, etc. When the postman arrives with a card to her friend, Molly's, party, she suddenly feels wonderful! The thing is, after the party, she really does get sick. ➵ I feel sick! features a little princess who lies about being sick to get out of doing things she doesn't want to do.
